On this page we present all the exciting new mounts introduced at the start of Battle for Azeroth, listed by model (for mounts by source, see Battle for Azeroth mounts, listed by source). For your interest we've also included unused colours of those models, and also some completely unused models that were added to the BfA database, in the hope that these appearances will become available in the future. We hope you enjoy!

Crawgs

These evil, bipedal pollywogs are employed by trolls in the swamps of Zandalar. One is a reward for the Uldir raid meta-achievement and the other is a Mythic/Challenge Mode drop from The Underrot dungeon.

Bees

This cute bee mount carries a giant honey pot on its back! It can even perform the waggle dance of real-world honeybees. While the yellow one has an associated spell, none are currently assigned to proper mounts.

This fancy, armoured basilisk is one of two upcoming additions to the Alliance 'Vicious mount' stable (the other being the Vicious War Riverbeast). One of the two is likely to appear on the vendor at the start of Battle for Azeroth PvP season 1, but at this stage we don't know which.

This savage, armoured basilisk is one of two upcoming additions to the Horde 'Vicious mount' stable (the other being the Vicious War Riverbeast). One of the two is likely to appear on the vendor at the start of Battle for Azeroth PvP season 1, but at this stage we don't know which.

A savage, armoured darkhound that looks like it would carve through anything in its path. The Dark Iron detailing on its armour is magnificent.

The updated hyena model now has a mount version! One is a reputation purchase from the Voldunai (Horde only) and the other is a random zone drop in Vol'dun.

Truly eye-catching - and wealth-depleting! This massive brutosaur is BfA's contribution to the collection of costly vendor mounts. This one will cost you 5 million gold!

Doesn't everyone want to fly about in a giant goblin face? This unusual copter is crafted by Engineers. The schematic is a boss drop from 'The MOTHERLODE!!' dungeon.

A whimsical hovercraft / ATV, this mount hasn't been given a source yet, though a spell in the database suggests that it may be intended to be crafted by Engineers.

A non-armoured version of the new pterrordax mount, this one may not be able to fly (time will tell!). It is obtained by Horde players after a chain of quests in which you raise it from a hatchling.

A beautifully-detailed new ram model that serves as a paladin mount for Dwarves (Dawnforge) and the new Dark Iron Dwarf allied race (Darkforge). We're unsure if there'll be a separate new mount for the level 40 paladin tier.

These colourful, but grizzled pirate-parrots even have wooden legs and eye-patches! One is a Mythic/Challenge Mode dungeon drop from Freehold, and the other is from Island Expeditions booty.

One of several unused infernal variants from Legion, this icy mount is awarded for anyone who collects 350 mounts usable by a single character.

Two more direhorn colours are becoming available in BfA. The lovely pale-gold variant will finally be obtainable as a simple vendor purchase for both factions (for 500000 gold!), and the Zandalari variant is the new racial mount for the Zandalari Trolls allied race.

A previously-unused colour of the Classic switch raptor model (the only other one being black). This striking white raptor drops from a rare added to the Arathi Highlands Warfront in BfA.

Possibly the most stunning colour of Twilight drake, the Twilight Avenger will finally be available as loot in the new Island Expeditions game system.

A rufous variant of the Minion of Grumpus, this yeti is a drop from the new Island Expeditions game system.
