Horde Racial and Faction Mounts
On this page you'll find mounts that are specifically associated with the Horde, and the races that are members of the Horde. See also our Other Faction Reputation Mounts page for mounts offered by other factions that may also be friendly to the Horde.
Faction Races
Each Horde race offers a range of iconic mounts. You can purchase all the mounts associated with your character's race at level 10. If you're after a mount from a different race, the fastest method is to simply create a character of that race and level it up to 10 (which shouldn't take very long). For all races but Dracthyr, the alternative method is to advance your reputation to Exalted with the race's associated faction. If you're currently neutral, this will take a lot more time, but your older characters may already have a high reputation with other racial factions just from regular gameplay.

Allied Races
Allied races are freshly-recruited members of the Horde that become playable races after being 'unlocked'. Unlocking these races usually requires reaching Exalted with an associated faction, which triggers a quest chain and scenario in which you convince the race to join your side. Allied race mounts are usable by all of your Horde characters as soon as you unlock the allied race. Refer to Wowhead's guide for more information on unlocking allied races.
