The Trading Post ~ March

Three mounts are available in the Trading Post for the month of March! The spectacular Majestic Azure Peafowl makes its debut for 750 Trader's Tender. This month also sees the second return of the two faction-restricted alabaster mounts: the Alabaster Stormtalon and Alabaster Thunderwing, each for 650 Traders tender.

Ash'adar, Harbinger of the Dawn Returns!

Ash'adar, Harbinger of Dawn has returned for a very limited time and is available in the Battle.net Shop (US/EU) until 31 March 2024. This shiny saber was originally the Trading Post bonus reward for the month of February, 2023. Once it leaves again we don't know when or how it'll return in the future.

Patch 10.2.5 Seeds of Renewal

Our guide to the mounts of Patch 10.2.5 is now up! This patch introduces some handsome new mounts that are available during upcoming Trading Post, Love is in the Air, Noblegarden, and Hearthstone 10th Anniversary events, as well as a couple of mounts offered during the new Azerothian Archives feature.

You'll receive the Auspicious Arborwyrm, a tree-like dragonriding drake, for free when you purchase a 6-month or 12-month subscription to World of Warcraft, or if you were already on a 6- or 12-month recurring subscription (with a future renewal date) at the time of the offer. The Arborwyrm is also available as a standalone mount purchase in the Blizzard Shop (US/EU) if you don't want to commit to a subscription.

A Golden Gold-Sink

The extravagant Golden Regal Scarab can now be purchased in game - at a cost of 1.2 million gold! You can buy this flyign beetle mount from Ms. Xiulan in The Black Market, Valdrakken (select her 'I am looking for something expensive!' option). After August it is likely it will be removed from regular sale and instead be added to the Black Market Auction House roster of items.

Algarian Stormrider - 'The War Within' Heroic and Epic Editions

The War Within - our next WoW expansion! - is now available for preorder, in three different editions. If you order the Heroic or Epic Editions you'll also receive the Algarian Stormrider, a dynamic flying / 'dragonriding' type mount with a configurable appearance. The Epic edition is more expensive than the Heroic, but also contains 'Squally' - a baby storm gryphon companion pet, as well as 30 days' game time, a Sandbox Storm Gryphon toy, guaranteed access to the Beta test, 3 days early access when the expansion is released, a hearthstone cosmetic effect, and 250 more Traders Tender than the Heroic. The next chapter of WoW Classic development - Cataclysm Classic - has been announced! While the game is free to WoW subscribers, Blizzard is also selling two 'Blazing' bonus packs: the 'Blazing Heroic Pack' and 'Blazing Epic Upgrade', both of which contain the Runebound Firelord - a Ragnaros-inspired elemental mount, as well as other goodies. The 'Epic Upgrade' is far more expensive than the 'Heroic Pack' but contains no extra collectables, just an added level 80 boost and 30 days' game time.
