Notes:

After completing To Sow the Seed in the main Harandar quest chain, a side-quest chain will open up, beginning with Tales of the Sky and ending with The Legend of Aln'sharan.

After completing this chain you can now loot Mysterious Skyshards from NPCs in Harandar (including Harandar delves). These have a low drop rate and you have to collect 500 of them! When you're done return to Kuri and use the extra action button to throw them into the water.

Before the next step, (unless you're a druid) prepare some kind of slow fall, or have something suitable ready in your bags as the next interaction requires you to dismount in mid-air. It's also useful to switch to steady flying before the next step.

When you're ready, go find Aln'sharan, the translucent blue cloud serpent who flies about the edge of the zone, but be careful: the hostile winds around the periphery can cause you a lot of damage, so you need to be quick! Fly right up to him and dismount and quickly interact with him to receive his mount item.
