From their infancy, Thundering Cloud Serpents are drawn to storms. They have been known to chase lightning through the blackened, roiling clouds, and to bathe in the pouring rain.
Riding Requirements:
- This mount is available to all eligible characters on your account.
- Level 10
- Apprentice Riding (ground)
- Expert Riding (flying)

Notes:
This mount is a guaranteed drop from Alani <The Stormborn>, who roams the skies of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. However killing her is not as simple as it may seem; to attack her you must first have collected and fused ten Sky Crystals, which are extremely rare loot from the denizens of the Vale.Of note, if someone is in group with you when you defeat her they may also be able to loot the mount, so be careful!
