Notes:

To obtain this mount: first kill magma snails in The Waking Shores until you obtain an Empty Magma Shell. See the Wowhead link for a full list of NPCs and locations, but they're spread across volcanic regions of the zone.

Once you've obtained the shell, journey to the Empowered Snail (actually a slug!) around 71.0, 25.0, in the east of the Scalecracker Keep region, in the north of the zone. Bring along as many health/protection buffs as you can. Enter the magma and interact with the snail to cast 'Embiggening Snail' on it. It takes 20 seconds to complete the cast, and during this time you'll be taking a lot of damage from the magma. Having a healer on hand will help, as will any class abilities that mitigate damage or heal over time. You'll need to use these just before interacting with the snail as you can't do anything once you start without interrupting the channel. After the channel is complete you'll receive this mount.
